Ok, seriously, I know I say this all the time (well obviously...if a band sucked why would I be going to see them??) but this show was so unbelievably amazing, I can't even tell you!!! This one was at the Temont in Charlotte and it was of course me and my concert buddy and best friend Kristin, as usual!! I absolutely adore Aiden...this was our 3rd time seeing them this year and every time they blow my mind. You can't imagine the energy this band brings to the stage and if you've ever seen them, you know exactly what I'm talking about!!! The singer, wiL, has this instense charisma and instantly connects with the crowd as soon as he walks out. You really can't take your eyes off him! He's always talking talking to the crowd in between songs, slapping hands, stage diving, swinging his mic around over his head, etc...he is quite the performer. And lets not forget he is also the leader of "The Wall of Death" which he did lead once again in this show. Nick, the bassist, is pretty nutty as well...always jumping off the speakers and the drums, jumping all over the place, standing on the barricade, etc. Jake W and Angel, the guitarists, can be seen throughout the show running back and forth across the stage, pausing to step to the edge of the stage and play over the crowd. Jake D is of course tied to his drums but he is an amazing and passionate player.
They were the opening band so unfortunately they didn't get to play a full set. But they packed alot of songs in a very little time and it was a great mix of songs from all 3 albums. I have no idea what oder they were played in but I know they played Last Sunrise, I Set My Friends on Fire, World By Storm, The Suffering, We Sleep Forever, Genetic Design for Dying, Die Romantic, and Goodbye We're Falling Fast. And they sounded great through every single one of them!!
Yes, I know, let's get on to the pictures!!! Unfortunately the lighting was awful!!! It was very dark and what little light they did have was red...which if you've ever tried to take pictures under red lighting, it doesn't work too well!! But I did the best I could! And yes, most of these pictures are of wiL! Sorry, but he's the easiest to photograph because he's ALWAYS looking at the crowd...and he comes in much closer for pictures too!! The ones I did manage to snap of the rest of the band aren't that great (then again, there are some of wiL that weren't all that great either!) but I put them up anyway! At least you know I tried! Sadly enough, I couldn't get any of Jake D...he was just too far away and very hidden behind the drums. :-(

And now we fast forward to after the show where we got to meet them all! And let me tell you, they were super sweet!!! Everyone one of them were just so nice and very appreciative of their fans support!! And yes, that means alot to me!!!! I also ran into one of my myspace friends, Iffy!
