Alone in the Darkness By: Devin Cade & Tina Scalici Alone in the darkness, No one is home, Reaching towards the light, Trapped.......all alone. In this black hole, This place that I live, I pray for the serenity that only God can give. In a perpetual state of rest, Speaking in sound mind, Wallowing endlessly, Madness is all I find. Each passing day may be different for some. But I’ve learned to expect for no one to come. I know nothing but life, Why do I hold it so clear? Death is my ignorance brought on by fear.Back to Devin's Poetry Index
