Dear God

Hands crossed, 
locked in prayer.
God relieve me please,
of this despair.

My mind,
this body and my soul,
can’t take much more...
I am losing control.

I feel I am drifting,
please don’t let me go. 
I am so broken inside,
and nobody knows.

Help me to be,
or to become,
the man I am.
The man I could be.
For more than some.

I know it’s been awhile,
since we last talked.
It’s been too long,
when with your courage I walked.

So until my words
arrive at your heavenly gate.
I will do my best to smile.
Amidst this pain,
	while your answer I await.
