A Moonlight Prayer By: Devin Cade
Lessons taught, Lessons learned, Enslaved to the knowledge, Wings disearned. A rose in the dark, Finds shape at moons light, While singing a sad mans tune, I have composed my day, now night. Listen for the winds, Hear my gentle sorrow, How I mold my yesterdays, Into this broken man you’ll see tomorrow. Still the violin plays on, Swaying within its soothing cure, Inspiring tired eyes to dream, To be recognized by someone pure.
