Once Again By: Devin Cade
I’ve dared to endeavor the realm of love...Once Again In this palace of emotion; I’ve engaged this kingdom, for this friend. This "friend" now my love. "The vessel of all good things" But at the same time, my poison. For she fuels my temptations with whatever thought she brings. I feel myself craving her tender company, and dismissing all who were before. Indulging myself in her adulterous engagements. "Deeming myself the whore." Sooner to my eyes than to my heart; Do I acknowledge, Our ever so sweet, and yet so sinful start. It began with a stare and unparalleled affection. "Neither knowing where it was gong." Nor did we care. Yet with this bliss, and poetic connection; We grew together and continue, with each enchanting kiss. It’s been said; "Knowledge is power." And, "One man’s wisdom, is another’s despise." "I’ve often said love is for fools." Hence, my first reprise; I’ve dared to endeavor the realm of love...Once Again.
