Redemption By: Devin Cade
I can see your soul, treading barren grounds, I can see your eyes, seeking better bounds. Yet all you see is repetition. Same objects and feelings, with a tired yet an unwise recognition. You’ve forgotten, your fruits of life. What makes things shine what makes things right. If you could tear yourself for a moment from your afflictions, and take a much needed look around at your new found addictions; You might find again the worth of every moment, Truly within your heart and mind, the gift of every second, a bestowment. Because even now, I don’t look at the clock as the taker... I hold myself accountable before time, and dare call myself a "Maker." If you could do this, amidst all your detention; you’ll slowly find yourself, Hence your own...Redemption.
