So Far Away By: Devin Cade
Born to run, Bound to fall, Loves first memory I now recall. To renounce the run, To accept my faith, Yet faith in once drawn, Has become held in life and basked in the breath of dawn. As when dreams flourished, To whisper your name quivered my soul, Hence, changed the rules of the game. Everytime your lips pressed against mine, The dream returned, And then, and forever, I swore you’d be mine. Without hesitation, This heart-filled cause, I fell into this encumbrance, Without mind, to halt for pause. The power in your stare, The grace in your stride, Every emotion "blasts" me, When all was left was useless pride. Dreams almost suddenly, Evaporated in course more than day, Though you’ll be forever inside, I still yet wonder why; "We’re so far away"
