When You Call Upon My Heart

Just when I need it, 
when I feel I’m falling apart.
Counting all the ways, 
to still this raging heart.

When I need to hear a voice,
and there’s no others around. 
I know you’re somehow there. 
Making my thoughts more sound. 

Not everyone understands me, 
and perhaps they’re not meant to. 
Destiny placed them that way.
Yet I’m so glad I found you. 

I truly don’t know what I’d do
if we never met.
Just firmly believe that I’m thankful, 
and this my love for you, I hope you never forget. 

For there can only be one you,
and I somehow knew that from the start. 
I can only pray I do the same by you.
When you call upon my heart.
