All I ever ask of you
is compassion and understanding,
a love from within your heart
and no inconsiderate demanding.
All I ever ask of you
is to make me feel secure,
to protect my mind and body
with your love so pure.
All I ever ask of you
is honesty and respect, 
if you never lie to me
our hearts will always connect.
All I ever ask of you
is to care about my thoughts,
to ask me what I’m feeling
and help me when I’m distraught.
All I ever ask of you
is to always love me so,
to hold onto me forever
and never let me go.
