Embraced By Night

If I offered you a choice
which would you take?
Would you unite with me forever
or awaken my heartache?
For so long I’ve worshipped
you from afar,
longing to witness
the final beat of your heart.
Fantasizing of taking you
and holding you near,
and draining you of the life
you once held so dear.
I want to feel
your mortality die
and experience the intimacy
of your soul’s cries,
and watch you emerge,
my beloved one born unto darkness,  
your untainted soul corrupted        
by my deadly kiss.
I can feel you inside me,
we are soul mates,
and this you must realize
before it’s too late.
Time is running out,
the sun is rising, you see.
You must declare your desires,
you must give in to me.
You cannot deny
what your heart truly craves.
You must let my immortal blood
set your veins ablaze.
My heart pounds for you
even right now,
and it will for eternity,
this I avow.
So surrender to the fate
that you’ve always known.
I promise, with me,
you’ll never be alone.
Take my hand, 
don’t hesitate.
Imagine the magic
we could create.
Let me take you 
from the light,
forever together,
embraced by night.
