Eternal Love

My love for you will always be there
and I want you to know I will always care.
My days are spent in warm content
just knowing that you are there.
Sometimes I let my love go unexpressed
especially towards those that I love best.
I just want you to know I love you so, 
while my heart is in your hand it can rest.
I love the way you hold my hand,
I love the way you always understand.
I’ll never be harmed while under your arm.
Please, say you’ll always be my man.
With you, life is routine happiness.
Without you, life is unbearable loneliness.
There’s comfort within your arms as you grin
while you heal me with a tender kiss.
I know love can’t protect you from everything
but neither can the feathers of an angels wing.
I won’t conceal the way that I feel:
My protection is from the love that you bring.
If you ever leave, a part of me will die.
I’ll be lost in the river of tears that I cry.
I won’t want a chance with another romance,
only to you will my heart ever fly.
Stay with me forever and make my dreams come true.
There’s nothing in this world that I would rather do.
Just hold on to me for all eternity,
and don’t forget these words: I love you.
