Artist: Jonathon Earl Bowser Hero By: JoAnna Martin I think I lost myself today. Don't know that I would recognize my face. I tell myself everything will be alright but I don't think I'm going to win this fight. My head says "yes" but my heart says "no". Tell me, from here, where do I go? I try to distract myself to help me through but I can't seem to stop thinking of you. I thought I had more control this time but memories of your kiss still send chills up my spine. Still, this situation just cannot be, It's not morally right and it's not me. You'll never want me the way I want you so tell me what I can do to forget about you. I promised myself there would be no tears but it all keeps building up-sadness, anger, fears. How much will you miss me? Will I miss you? Will anyone find out? Can my heart hide, too? I need some help, can't you see? I need a hero and that hero just isn't me. But all the heroes in the world can't save me from myself.
