The One Who Is You

I finally found my one true love,
the one I’ve always been dreaming of,
the one to share my times of tenderness,
the one who will heal me with a caring kiss,
the one who will make my sorrows go away,
the one who always knows the right things to say,
the one who will put his arms around me,
the one who will kiss me reassuringly,
the one who cares about my innermost thoughts,
the one whose experiences I love to be taught.
I know at times we may fight and disagree
but in the end you’ll understand me
as I will also understand you
and try real hard to keep our love true
because I’m glad I found my one true love,
the one I’ve always been dreaming of.
The one who is you.
