The Road By: JoAnna Martin The road has become my eternal friend. Where will it take me? When will it end? Travelling alone, without a guide. No one to answer to, no rules to abide. There’s nothing I haven’t seen, nothing I haven’t done. I’ve left no stone unturned and no game un-won. I live for each moment like there’s no tomorrow, not bearing in mind any worries or sorrows. Live life to the fullest, that’s what it’s here for, forget about consequences, unlock adventure’s door. Embrace life mysteries, test your pride, challenge the world and enjoy the ride. Add your experiences in the book of collected memories but hide your loneliness in the one that no one ever sees. Because it’s a lonely road I travel upon. There’s no time for commitment when I have to move on. That’s OK with me, I uncap my drink, A toast for independence!!! and no obligations....I think.
