ACCEPTANCE

Dashed against the stones,
I wonder why we try.
Beaten by the violent waves of time,
Our lives slip by.
Struggling to stand,
We fall once more,
Guess we didn't learn from the time before.
I must look differently now at the pain and scars,
in the end, the only thing that's ours.
So here now on my knees the tears taste sweet,
and it's with a smile that I accept my defeat.

THE LIAR

My name is on history's every page.
Now it's your turn to feel my rage.
My name is the bringer of light
but you for I have only an eternal night.
I have chosen you for my own.
Now like me you will fall from your throne.
Tell me does it hurt
to have such a pretty face rubbed in the dirt?
Whatever you start
I'll make you stop.
I'll break your heart
just because mine is like a rock.
For you I came from Hell.
Trust in me and fall as well.
This pain, it just won't go.
And in the end
you reap what you sow.
It's a wound that won't mend,
A fool to trust.
You fell right into my hands
now consumed by my lust.
You face a torture that's darkened.
I told you all along
I love you!
But I'm a liar
I'll see you through
And in the end burn you with my fire!
