GOODBYE

Yes, my dear, you were all I had, 
For a while we were inseparable. 
You were my sister, 
Through mind, blood, and tears. 
I loved you, but, 
All I ever asked was that you love me, too. 
And now, I wonder, what did I do to deserve such pain, 
Lies, and hurt. 
I miss you. 
Oh, the times we shared…. 
I remember them like they were yesterday, 
The 10 years, the years I tried so hard to change you. 
I gave you my heart and you ripped it in two. 
And what hurts me the most is that you will never know 
How hard I tried, what I sacrificed, and put myself through 
The Emotional and physical pain I suffered… 
Simply to have you with me. 
But, you will never understand, as hard as I cry and beg and plead, 
You will never see it, and realize I am true. 
And now you are with them, the ones who cause my suffering. 
And when they drop you, like always, when you come crawling back, 
I won’t be there to pick you up, 
No, never again. 
So here I say goodbye, now and always, 
I’m over being under you… 
You said Forever Emily, or did you forget? 



THE TORMENT

As we walked distantly 
On that shore, 
Our lives became meaningless. 
Looking at the dark, Motionless water, 
We thought, 
Things will never be the same. 
The sky was black and stormy, 
And, our thoughts were dim 
As we walked along the murky shore. 
The Shrill screams filled our ears, 
The grotesque, searing cuts we had, 
were completely filled with sand. 
And, as we became motionless, 
I realized, 
Essence left my heart tonight.
