Pictures from Warped Tour on 8/8/05

Surprisingly enough this was my first Warped Tour and I must say it was an interesting experience. Although Kristin and I vowed that next year we will concentrate more on meeting the bands and checking out the booths rather than hanging out up front at the main stages because that sucked!! There are just too many people! Its not worth it to be that close when you've got 1000's of people fighting for your spot and you can barely even enjoy the show! I think I got kicked in the head more times at Warped Tour than I have at all the other concerts I have ever been to combined! It was madness! But we did get to hear a lot of cool bands. Some of the highlights were MCR (of course), Fall Out Boy (laugh at me if you want but they put on one hell of a show!), Atreyu, Dropkick Murphys, Offspring, Senses Fail, Thrice, Saosin, and Street Dogs. I really wanted to see Matchbook Romance, Avenged Sevenfold, Reggie and the Full Effect, Funeral for a Friend, and Bleeding Through but it just didn't happen! I do know though if we do decide to catch any of the main stage performances next year, it will be to hear the show from the back, not watch it from the front! But I still think we'll get more enjoyment out of the Volcom and Ernie Ball stages!! There are some great bands that start off there and there are alot less people trampling you! Anyway, here are our Warped Tour Pictures....yes, there are only 3 onstage pictures!! It started raining and rain + extreme NC heat = steamed up camera!!! That, and you really can't take pictures when you're getting smacked around! LOL

These 2 are Frank from My Chemical Romance

And sadly, I can't remember who this is...lol. I am pretty sure it is the lead singer from Saosin.....but its possible its the lead singer from Senses Fail. I don't know....I saw them back to back and I didn't know what either band looked like before the show! If you know who it is, let me know!!!

The highlight of Warped Tour was getting to meet Frank of My Chemical Romance. He was actually at his own booth, Skeleton Crew, which will be your #1 source for underground bands, artists, writers, etc. They will also have their own clothing line! Check them out at SkeletonCrewOnline.com!!! So yeah, here are our pictures with Frank, which thankfully, were well before the rain!!

Here are our pictures with the Dropkick Murphy's who rock....you should check them out if you don't know them! And no, that's not real blood....it was just a visit to the Undead Booth!

And these are the pictures after my visit to the Undead Booth sponsered by My Chemical Romance. They were supposed to have a photo contest between everyone who got painted but it never quite happened! Oh well, it was still amusing!
